Aloha Henry&Wife! Many thanks, I appreciated very much your kindness!
I just would like to add that Waikiki is The main central area for all tourism and enterteinment in Hawaii so it is great to be at a short walk to it all but traffic noise is spread out the entire Waikiki area everywhere. Nonetheless, I have happily lived in this apartment for 13 years even keeping my windows always open as I prefer cross breezes, yet with the windows closed the apartment is pretty silent.
Upon my return on Oahu at the end of Feb I will personally look into your complaints about the mattress topper because it is not "old and useless" as you wrote since I bought it new only in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and it has always been super comfortable for me and some other guests actually mentioned it directly in their reviews as super comfortable also! This is the mattress topper item that is currently positioned with the gel side up to even keep your body cooler: (Website hidden by Airbnb) as you can read it conforms to the body for maximum comfort! It is a different feeling from a regular mattress topper and I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy it as much as I and other guests do! Regarding the "human stain" on it, thanks for letting me know as I was not aware of it and I will now make sure it will be washed away as soon as possible, as the cleaning service washes regularly only all sheets, duvet cover, and towels. The toilet is old yet still in good enough shape but the flush-handle part that broke during your stay had already been replaced with a new flush-handle part only a couples of years ago. Anyway, I'm planning to replace the whole toilet structure in the near future. The tub/shower has been completely remodeled in October (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and the contractor who did a great job didn't mention any ADA compliance so I wasn't even aware of this. I personally have never had the need for a grab bar so I never thought of one but I'll look into this possibility in the future for pleasing guests like you. Many Thanks! Mahalo & Aloha Nui Loa!
