Thanks Julia for the great review, we really appreciate that you took the time to write in such detail. I love that you loved Bungalow Three, it's always fun to see which bungalows people like and what they like about them. Thanks for noticing the attention to detail we really do try, and thanks also for your beautiful comments on the food. We are slowly expanding the menu and in fact just finished the new terrace on the office as the next stage to opening our menu up to the public
Hope to see you again soon.
p.s re annoying mossies, I live on the premises and personally dont get bothered, I'm sure at least in part because I taste bad haha, but we do take a lot of measure to try and ensure guests are not bothered. In bungalow 3 we have mossie repelling plants around teh bungalow including lemongrass and citronela and yet other plants to attract beautiful dragonflys and fireflys and small bats and birds at dusk, who love our buzzy friends. Then we have a moat surrounding the bungalow with fish to eat any lavae and cool teh slab and protect against ants, then we have fans in every room so that they cant fly around then the bed nook is mosquito proofed with screens, then the bed has a beautiful hand made natural cotton net and a bed fan. For most of us less tasty mortals this is enough, but then for the more tasty humans we also have free mosquito repellent, along with plug in electric repellent and smoke repellents and also electric bats for those that like revenge haha, in amongst all of that, (none of which I use aside from the bed net) we still have people who are simply so damn attractive that they get bitten... I'm not sure what we can do haha except congratulate you on your tastiness and encourage you to use more of the devices provided. Personally I simply find it fascinating that most guests are unbothered but a few are unstoppable attractive to our small buzzing friends :)
As for teh mosques as you niely point out we do prepare for free the highest quality imported soft earplugs suitable for sleeping for those that sleep lightly and we are located as far as you an get from a mosque in every direction, but at the end of the day you are visiting the island with the largest muslim population in the world, and mosques and islamic traditions are all part of the unique experience of central java.
Thanks again for the amazing review and we look forward to seeing you again :) :) :)
