A wonderful seaside retreat, in a quiet residential street with a garden. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
7 minute walk from the beach and train station, 2 minutes from Whitstable's unique High Street.

Der Wohnraum

10A is a stylish apartment within a Victorian property full of character and perfect seaside retreat. Sleeping up to 4 people (2 on a very comfortable Sofa bed) with all the comforts of a modern home.

It has been decorated to a high standard and is much loved. The garden is an escape from it all and Mutley's Hut is an extension of the house and part of the tranquil experience. Throughout the flat, the furniture has been hand picked and lovingly placed, with the aim of making it a restful retreat all year around.

The dining/reception room: has a beach feel to it with stripped floorboards, a feature fireplace made with reclaimed driftwood from the beach and some original features.

The sitting room: has a working gas fireplace, for those cosy nights in, or afternoons after a cold beach walk! With a comfortable corner sofa, which converts to a double bed for those who come down with the family. (Please advise if you require the sofa bed.)

The large bedroom: has a king size bed, a child's travel cot is available if required (Please advise) the room has been decorated and styled to be comfortable and welcoming.

The kitchen: is small and well equipped, it has been totally refurbished with new machinery, including a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, oven and washer dryer.

The bathroom is small, newly refurbished with a walk in shower in half of it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The flat was impeccably clean and the atmosphere is quiet, cozy and classy. Thanks to some sunny late afternoons, we were able to take full advantage of the garden cottage where we were treated to a wonderful jazz jam session from the next door neighbor. Our hosts left us a welcome basket with wine, crisps and chocolates and there was milk in the fridge as well. The proximity to the sea and the shops on the High Street make this a wonderful location. Highly recommended!

The flat is in a great location within walking distance to the high street and all the bars and restaurants. Set in a quiet road the flat is beautifully decorated and the perfect size for two people with the added extra of the hut in the garden that was cozy and a great place to have a glass of wine and look up at the stars!

We have now stayed here 4 or 5 times, which tells you how lovely this apartment is. It is perfectly situated for both town and beach. Tim and Tara are great hosts, who really care that you enjoy your stay. Look forward to returning again.

Spacious beautifully refurbished Victorian flat, the garden and Mutleys Hut are a great extra. Fantastic location in Whitstable, very peaceful but only a few minutes walk from the hustle & bustle of the waterfront. No hesitation in recommending

I love what Whitstable has to offer, the working harbour, beach walks and general love of the sea, sound of the Gulls. That you can switch off, as soon as you drive over the hill into Whitstable and see the sea in the distance!
My wife, dog and I thrive on soaking it all up!
