Our place is close to Norwood Junction railway station, only an 8 minute walk away. Regular trains depart from here to London Bridge, Victoria, East London and Croydon.. You’ll love my place because of the light, the comfy bed and the fact that the flat backs onto a well kept garden which means no noise from the main road at all! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids) as we have a double sofa-bed in the living room.

Der Wohnraum

This is our home. We rent it out when we are on holiday ourselves. If you enjoy living in someone else's house then this is for you. Don't book if you expect to find a flat that has been designed to serve as a holiday apartment.
The flat itself is very light with the two bay windows in bedroom (privacy is important to us so this room has tight-fitting close blinds on all windows) and living room. The kitchen also has a good sized window and the bathroom has a Velux angled window which enables ample ventilation. Our hallway is an excellent separator between bedroom/bathroom area and kitchen/living/dining room. It has a cloakroom cupboard. In fact storage space is ample in our flat, we even have a walk-in wardrobe! Both bedroom and living room has direct garden access if required, both double glazed and double lockable doors.

You will be able to access the whole of our flat, and garden! :)

The building's communal garden is accessible via the living room back door, not the bedroom door. The key will be in the door when you arrive. Please remember to lock up every time you come inside, especially before you leave the flat.

Great flat - very comfy, light, bright and spacious. Added bonus of great enclosed garden. Real benefit in hot weather. Hosts exceptionally helpful and friendly.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Tom's flat for over a month, as we were moving down to London and looking for a flat. Tom's flat was a fantastic place to stay, as it felt like home, even as we were in the process of a long drawn-out flat hunt. The flat itself is quite large, especially by London standards, and has a beautiful backyard that would be very desirable during the summer. The kitchen is fully equipped and was a joy to cook in. In general, the whole flat is fitted with very tasteful and comfortable furnishings, and was very clean when we arrived. As we were there for a long stay, the extensive amount of storage was very appreciated as it meant we could even keep our suitcases out of sight. The neighbourhood is very residential and very quiet. Norwood Junction Station is only about 10-15 min walk away and has a very frequent service to London Bridge Station, with a direct train taking about 15-20 min. Crystal Palace is a short walk away and is a charming area, bustling with shops and cafes and plenty to do. The road outside the flat is also a main artery for bus lines, which was very handy to get to other parts of South London. The check-in process was very easy, as the key was left with one of the neighbours who was very friendly. Tom came to greet us in person and was extremely helpful and prompt when we had any questions, in person or through the app. Overall the experience was wonderful and I would recommend staying at Tom's flat!
