Thank you so much for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the home and your stay. As a note, you can turn the A/C lower, but we recommend a 72 degree threshold. Any condenser unit, when overworked, can have lines that become frozen. It is not specific to this unit or this home. Our recommended setting will prevent that from happening. Thankfully Park City, being in the mountains, it is not typically too hot. And, every evening...even in the warmest of weather... it cools to a nice mid to high 50's where windows can be opened and fresh mountain air enjoyed!
Regarding the damage deposit/insurance: Airbnb does offer a 1M policy, but it is not all inclusive. In fact, they warn the home owner to include a damage deposit. Insurance laws are such that we cannot add this fee into the cost of the rental as a default. The insurance must be specifically chosen for valid coverage. As Airbnb does not offer optional fees as part of the reservation, we request this after the reservation is accepted. We clearly and boldly notify the guest of this and the cost is requested and obtained through Airbnb. Something as simple as setting a suitcase on a bed and having a sharp edge tear the comforter could result in a $100+ cost to replace the bed spread. Accidents can happen, even to the most careful person. With the damage insurance, we handle filing the claim and take care of the replacement at no cost to the guest. It is only our intent to ensure that a simple accident, resulting in damage, does not put a damper on a guest's stay.
Again, thank you for staying at this lovely home! We hope you enjoyed the spacious floor plan, the private hot tub and had some time at the fun neighborhood amenities; putting green, soccer field, pool, fire pit area and more! We hope to host your next get-away.
