This property is my childhood home I inherited years ago. My father was an architect & my mother is an interior designer. Together, in 1966, they began renovation of this historic mill from it's abandoned state, which became a life long project I am continuing with. This was a magical place to grow up, giving me a unique perspective on life. Now,as a host, I enjoy sharing the property with others. I have been hosting on other vacation rental websites but I am relatively new to Airbnb. I split my time between life in the country and work in N.Y. City. I work as a conceptual artist, prop stylist & set designer. I enjoy traveling and have spent many years exploring the countries of South East Asia with a special affection for Thailand. With a Dutch mother, I also have a deep love for the Netherlands. After an adventure away, I'm always happy to come home to the sound of the waterfall outside my window.
