Fantastic location for our 1-bedroom rowhouse! We are walking distance from all the downtown fun like the Distillery District, Eaton Centre, St. Lawrence Market, Massey Hall, ACC, Harbourfront, theatres, music, shopping, and dining galore! Don't like walking? No problem, we are 1 minute from 24-hr transit routes, a bike-share station, and a car rental, but we are still a cozy little house on a cute little street--not a giant condo tower!
Our little row house is a one-storey, one-bedroom charmer. Though it's small (650 square feet), it has everything you need: the bedroom is immediately to the right when you enter, followed by an open concept cozy living room and fully-equipped eat-in kitchen (well, no dishwasher, but all the standard items), and a bathroom at the rear of the house with a tub-shower combo and separate toilet nook.
The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and there is a fold-out couch in the living room that could sleep a third person, as long as they are not over 6' tall.
We have wifi throughout, and a desk space in the living room so you can edit and upload all the photos of your fun city adventure!

We also have a little yard for your use. In nice weather, it's a great place to sit out and have a coffee, or lay down and snuggle up on swingy-swing with a good book. The cushions for swingy-swing are in the shed. We do take the swing down over the winter, though.
There is also an unfinished basement. It's not inviting as a space for you to live in during your stay, but that's where the laundry is, and you are welcome to make use of it. Don't bump your head on the way downstairs!

The house is old and quirky, but very charming. In fact, we lived there for 10 years until we recently moved around the block because we love the neighbourhood THAT much!
Rest assured, you will have your privacy, but you can also have the comfort of knowing we are only around the corner if you need anything at all--even if it is just a question about how to use the streetcar, the best path to the Distillery District, or which of the plethora of dining options we would recommend (Dominion Pub, by the way--5 minute walk, great food and craft beer, lovely patio, weekend brunch, live music).
Weitere wichtige Infos
We do not have a private driveway, but everyone on Sackville uses City of Toronto parking permits. If you need a parking permit, you can go online to the city website and get a Visitor parking permit.
If you're not a driver, don't worry, we are between the two biggest 24-hr transit routes in the city. You are 50m from the Queen streetcar, 200m from the King streetcar, and there is a bike-share stand literally across the road.
Plus, we are walking distance from too many amenities to count, so you might not need any transportation at all!
But if you don't have a car and want one, there is an Advantage car rental just one minute away.
- Please note that Parking IS available, but it is NOT free. You will need to get a City of Toronto Visitor Parking permit, which you can do easily online. Let us know if you need any help with this.
-Please note that as an older rowhouse, the neighbours are right next door on the other side of the walls... kindly keep noise levels down at night.
- We are happy to provide coffee, tea, travel advice, and any info you would like on all the amenities nearby.
I used to travel the world with the Circus and have used Airbnb in so many interesting places. Now that I'm back in Toronto, I'm excited to host fellow world travelers in my own city.
