Take a trip back in time in this iconic American camper (26' Argosy), tucked away in a private yard in Philadelphia's historic Germantown neighborhood. Patio, fire pit (wood provided), lounge chairs provide all you need for al fresco dining/relaxing in season. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with older kids) coming to Philly to check out the sights. Need more room? Book the guestroom in our historic carriage house next door to accommodate up to 3 additional guests.
Coffee/tea provided; kitchen has fridge, gas stovetop (for safety reasons, the oven is not available at this time), microwave, blender, etc. Kitchen towels and dishes/flatware, pots provided.
Bathroom has a bathtub/shower. Towels provided.
Most of the original fixtures remain, with updates to cooling/heating.
We'll have the beds made up and ready for you, or, upon request, will leave the seating open for daytime lounging, and you can make up the beds (or use your own sleeping bags, if you prefer) when you're ready to hit the hay.
Zugang für Gäste
The whole camper is yours, as are the private patio and fire pit.
We provide one parking space in our driveway, and free street parking is also available. You might cross paths, in the driveway, with the AirBnB guests who rent our guest room in the house. They have their own parking space, so there's no competition for space.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We live in the 19th-century carriage house adjacent to the camper. We have one AirBnB room (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/13813400) in that house. We're renovating a 1965 AirStream "Sovereign" too, so if you're an AirStream fan, we'll have lots to talk about! We're happy to chat and answer any questions you have during your stay but want only the amount of interaction that you find desirable.
