Step back into the era of glamour that made St Kilda both famous and notorious. My Melbourne home is for those who love quirky accommodation. Original Art Deco plaster ceiling roses and cornices adorn the high ceilings. My appreciation of Art Deco style is evident in my collection of vintage pieces. The apartment is spacious with easy wheelchair access.

My love affair with Bali began 30 years ago, when I left Australia after training as a chef and hospitality manager. Marriage into a high caste Balinese family and two children later, I am now an Indonesian citizen. This magical island still inspires me to give free rein to my creativity and entrepreneurship me every day. I am owner of salsa haven Café Havana, and owner/creative director of women’s fashion and fine sterling silver brand Goddess on the Go. I’ve poured my insatiable passion for design (and attention to detail) into the creation of the Rumah Ria, Janet’s Joglo and Pondok Lili…well, I had to keep creating spaces for my hoard of quirky Balinese and Indonesian antiques, and artefacts from my travels (another passion)!
Today, I am so happy to share my eclectic homes with those of you starting your own love affair with Bali.
As a long-standing member of the expat community, I believe in giving back to the community, and support many wonderful Bali not-for-profit Organizations. I will be thrilled to connect you with these life changing organizations so you too can become personally involved.
Oh, and my gift to all guests is a 10% discount at my Goddess on the Go stores in Ubud; and dinner and an evening of salsa at Café Havana for those who stay two weeks!
