This fifth floor walkup with many useful amenities (landline, wifi, voltage converter, hairdryer, etc.) is my homebase for when I'm doing research in Dakar. It's in the middle of one of Dakar's most vibrant neighborhoods, Médina, which is crowded, but also very safe. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom. The other room is occupied by Saliou, my assistant while I was a Fulbright Scholar who can serve as your guide or assistant for an affordable daily rate, depending on his availability.
