Located at the Edge of the Art District in Mount Pleasant, known for great restaurants and micro brewerys. Our cozy little Westcoast suite has a private gated entrance off of a treed greenspace and a small fenced yard. This sweet, suite is tucked away in an old 70's building across from a bike path and main bus route that connects you to two skytrain stations within about 5 minutes. Incredibly EASY airport access!
Our cozy little Westcoast suite is VERY centrally located and just 4 blocks from Main Street (crowned one of the “coolest streets” on the continent by Cushman and Wakefield.). Our place has a small private yard with a gated entrance and plenty of FREE parking - on the street or in our underground parkade. ( PLEASE NOTE - The greenspace is NOT part of the property and is maintained on a monthly basis by the City, there has on occasion been discarded items on the trail between cleanups - please keep this in mind when rating OUR property -we'd appreciate it)The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans cutlery dishes etc.etc.
We LIVE on our bikes here in Vancouver, and are more than happy to share them with you ABSOLUTELY FREE. The average rate to rent bicycles in town is about $10 an hour, or $40 per day (with additional fees for overnight use). So enjoy them, check out the seawall and the trails in Stanley park, and be safe.
- If you'd like access to them, simply let us know, and we will send you the code for the lock. You just assume responsibility for them (replacement fee if lost or stolen- but we have a good lock for the pair), and for your safety - we suggest that you use the helmets, and the bells we have on them.
The suite is located in an older building - we prefer to use our gated entrance as the building is due for a revamp to its hallways, but you are free to enter the building any way you like.
To access the gated yard, you follow a beaten path down a narrow treed greenspace - PLEASE NOTE - Vancouver was facing its worst winter in 70 years. As a result of this - There has been some spring run-off that has eroded the greenspace path down to the fenced gated yard and the gate. The erosion makes for a small step down at the pathway at the 5th ave sidewalk, as well as the side door of the building, which is just past the fence and the descent to 2nd Avenue.
Aside from that adventure - Its a well located, quiet and cozy suite, it also has these GREAT features-
- 2 well loved bikes for cruising the city - LOCK and helmets included
(let us know if you'd like to use them and we will give you the lock code and details)- you assume all responsibility and there is a 175$ charge per bike if damaged or stolen)
- Wall-mounted 46" 3D tv
- Wii System and games
- Smart Blu Ray player with Netflix
- EXTREMELY Comfortable, high quality couch and Bed is a Queen sized with Sterns and Foster "CHANEL" Model mattress

Hi, Thanks for checking out our place, and US!
We're an outdoorsy and grounded couple - who split our time between the wet west coast and the arid Mojave desert - We've spent alot of time travelling and "roughing it" so we know the value of a GREAT MATTRESS and a couch meant for rainy days and movie marathons - you will sleep like a BABY here.
We absolutely love our neighbourhood here in Vancouver - great food, craft breweries, art galleries galore and some hidden little local gems like "the Narrow" bar down the street. We are right across from a bike path that leads to the Sea Wall or hang a right and glide through the East Van Murals district and beyond into Chinatown and into Gastown on one of the bikes we have here. (if you make prior arrangements - they arent tuned up until March)
You are more than welcome to bring your well behaved, house trained dog - but treat our home with respect - clean up after them in the yard and no dogs on couch (unless its small and freshly showered).
With a deposit - You are welcome to use
our bikes (yes guys, it should fit you too- just jack up the seat),
snowboard (about 5'5" rider - womens size 7 1/2 boots),
and we also keep a spare tent here incase you hear the call of the mountains and need to get out into the wild for a night or two.
