I know you and your girlfriend were new to Airbnb so I was very happy to host you here for your very first stay! I'm so sorry you felt disappointed by several elements. I wish you'd spoken to me about it while here, so I had the chance to address them.
As you mention, the WiFi was out for the entire building, and I did my best to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Thankfully, it's been fixed and will no longer be an issue moving forward.
I gave you and your girlfriend notice about the shower, and that you can't turn it too abruptly, otherwise, it will change temperature drastically. Last, the listing clearly states that there is no AC in the room, and I do not provide it anywhere in the building. You were welcome to make use of spaces other than your room -- the patio as well as the living room -- during your stay here, but you chose not to. Keeping the doors and windows closed during a heat wave will, indeed, make for a very uncomfortable stay. Unfortunately, Toronto weather is much warmer than Edmonton's.
I was happy to answer and accommodate as much as I could all of your many requests, from early check-in (asked multiple times!) and also your need to store many large pieces of luggage in my office. You essentially got two rooms for the price of one!
I wish you good luck on your time here in Toronto, and I'm sure that once you and your partner have more travel experience, you'll adapt well to using Airbnb.
