SECURITY CAMERA CLAUSE. The front driveway exterior entry of the house is monitored/recorded by security cameras. Also, owners live in an attached apartment over the garage, and will be aware of any disruptions. 12. Behavior Clause. A neighborhood disruption, unacceptable noise, unruly behavior, or ignoring pool or neighborhood evening quiet hours will result in a demand to depart without refund or recourse. There is to be no outside noise after 11 PM. Violation will be a deduction on your Binder Payment refund. 13. Sublet Clause. You may not sublet this property or transfer this agreement. THE PERSON ON THE BOOKING MUST BE PRESENT. 15. Maintenance Clause. You agree to notify us as soon as any maintenance or housekeeping problem is noticed. Breakdowns, other maintenance issues and housekeeping issues will be repaired or remedied as soon as possible. No refunds or compensation will be given. 16. Removal Clause. You agree to comply with the departure time. If the property is not vacated by checkout time, you consent to removal of all occupants and all belongings from the property and disposing of all belongings at your expense and risk of loss. 17. Hot tub Clause. There could be a situation when the tub could be out of use. No refunds are issued for down time. You are liable for all costs, court costs, and reasonable attorney fees incurred in the enforcement our rights under this agreement. TRAVEL COVERAGE AND VACATION PROTECTION. Travel Coverage and Protection is highly recommended. We do not provide any refund for cancellations within 60 days of arrival, under any circumstances, including but not limited to storms, hurricanes, evacuation or hospitalization. Some credit card companies provide travel protection as a benefit. Check your benefits. Consider purchasing additional appropriate Coverage. The Big Chill House is a fabulous vacation home!! We celebrated my husband's birthday week there with our 4 grown kids and spouses/girlfriends. Laurie's decorating is phenomenal, all the beds are so cozy and comfy with lots of extra pillows, and George was always helpful whenever we needed anything. The 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards kept us all entertained each morning......and the dolphins would swim along beside us. It was beyond amazing!! Being on Mount Pleasant, this house has a perfect location and is close to everything! We are already planning a return visit to The Big Chill House next summer. Loved it so much!!

This place was beautiful and well equipped with all of the luxuries one could want. Laurie went above and beyond with fresh bagels and pound cake upon arrival; the house and backyard are a dream! We kyacked, crabbed and fished right off of her dock. Memories we'll have for a lifetime. A must!

The Big Chill is a beautiful home as advertised and perfect for a group of 8-10 guests. The newly remodeled master bath was fabulous!! Everyone really enjoyed the spacious home and the cooks in the family enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. I am glad I decided to try Air B&B for my destination birthday celebration and the Big Chill was a great choice. It was a short drive 5-10 minutes to downtown Charleston which was great. We would chose the Big Chill again, especially when it's warmer to fully enjoy the outside amenities. Laurie and George were great and provided information to assist us in enjoying ourselves while in Mt Pleasant/Charleston. The Big Chill was an awesome choice!!

This house is a tranquil place to bundle in but probably better for an older crowd. It's not a bad drive from to downtown. we were there in December so the water was just for looking at. One night we got yelled at rudely by the host for laughing loudly on the deck, admittedly at 11pm. We were also told not to burn real wood in the wood fireplace, but use fake logs. The decor is delightful and a good place to break bread together. The main tv wasn't working, and after the laughing at 11pm and firewood incidents we didn't try to reach out to the host to fix the cable tv, so that fix was potentially on us.

We strive to provide an immaculate upscale house in an exceptional location, on the Waterfront with a Dock. Weather permitting, Kayaking, Paddleboarding and Waterfront activities are all right in the backyard. We invite and welcome touring couples, visitors here for a wedding or event, and mature family groups who bring along appropriate AirBNB guest behavior. Groups hollering up a storm, and cussing like sailors late at night are not a good match for this upscale house. House has 5 Satellite HDTV's and 100's of prime channels. The provider is Direct TV.

Laurie is proud to be involved in local town politics and works to ensure the rental properties are Legal and approved by the town. Laurie sits on the Accommodations and Tax Committee for the Town of Mount Pleasant to dispense tax funds. She is also proud to have been chosen to be involved actively with other listing sites on the Owner's Advisory Council. In February of 2017, Laurie won a National Contest based upon Marketing the Rental by showcasing improvements in Rental Properties. Laurie is a part time travel specialist. Laurie brings professional hospitality flair into the rental properties.
Laurie happily lives in the neighborhood a few blocks away with her husband, George. About George: After a high powered corporate career, and then owning a successful retail chain, George now is thrilled to welcome guests to our Charleston rentals. George ensures that your visit is comfortable and smooth. He oversees the maintenance and improvements of the houses, and keeps the grounds manicured. George takes pride in seeing that your rental meets, or exceeds, your expectations. You will find George out on his boat in the waterways of the neighborhood, or walking our Pomeranian dog, Gus. We love Charleston and have lived here nearly 25 years. As the town grew, we chose to be close to downtown, and settled in this unique and changing neighborhood of Remleys Point. We feel grateful to have more than one house to share for others who wish to visit the great LowCountry area, or are here with family or friends.
