A charming cottage on a little hill with a picturesque view of the Lake of Bays. Access to the lake and our private dock is on the opposite side of the road. The cottage is on a 4.5 acre land and surrounded by nature in all it’s splendor. It is private yet not secluded. Perfect for a family retreat.
The cottage sleeps up to 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Please note that the sofa bed is in the dining area and it is a very bright area with no window coverings. We did not want to hide the beautiful view. The dining room and master bedroom have spectacular views of the Lake of Bays. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need. Includes electric stove, fridge, dishwasher, plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle etc.
The owner's cabin by the lake is not rented.
Outside, the deck, just off the dining room and with fantastic views of the lake has tables/chairs and loungers, and a propane BBQ. We put away the patio furniture during winter. A great place to BBQ and enjoy the view. We also have a fire-pit for those chilly nights.
Amenities include: wireless internet, TV and DVD player. Please note that there is no home phone in the cottage.
Lots of parking for cars, snowmobiles and boat trailer. Since there is no parking at the owner's cabin, there may be occasions when the parking is shared (i.e. owner may park at 1402 South Portage Road)
Zugang für Gäste
You have access to the entire cottage. The property has lake access across the road (1399 South Portage Rd). You are welcome to use the dock however we do not rent our waterfront cabin.
