I'm sorry you found your stay unsatisfactory. All prior guests have been very pleased with the apartment, its location and access to NYC, had no difficulty finding the house, and have not reported any issues with hot water or difficulty sleeping (the reviews speak for themselves). I wish you had mentioned something about the hot water, as I could have turned the heat even higher on the boiler had I known. If at any point you knocked on my door with no answer, it would only be because I wasn't home or didn't hear it. Ringing my doorbell (or calling, emailing, or texting) would have been a more reliable way to reach me, and I certainly would never intentionally "ignore" a guest, as I take much pride in hosting. Lastly, I do regret the issue that occurred with the bathtub on your final morning. This was completely out of the ordinary. In any case, I took it upon myself to reimburse you an entire night's stay in effort to make things right.
