A lovely warm 3 bedroom home in the central and stunning Cromwell, Central Otago. A renovated and stylish home that has everything you could need. Double glazing with two heat-pump/air-conditioning units and a fire. Some of the best wineries on your doorstep and Highlands Motor sport. Cromwell has a beautiful lake and is a short drive to Queenstown and Wanaka and the surrounding ski fields.

Simple family holiday home in the true heart of Central Otago, Cromwell. An area steeped in Gold Mining history and surrounded by Vineyards. Situated three blocks from Lake Dunstan and 'Old Cromwell' and one block to a playground. 40 minutes to Queenstown airport and 40 minutes to Wanaka.

This is a family friendly holiday house with a fully fenced back yard suitable for small children. French doors lead from the lounge on to a deck at the front of the house. There is a variety of DVDs and Books at the house.

The maximum occupancy for rental stays is 6. There are 3 bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a Queen bed and bedroom 3 has two king-single beds. All of the beds are new and extremely comfortable. All the beds have hotel quality sheets.

The lounge has a coal/woodburner and firewood is supplied for winter stays. Both of the Queen beds and the two king singles beds have electric blankets and some hot water bottles are also provided. The house has been furnished in modern furniture.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, there is also a BBQ for summer nights.

Cromwell is at the heart of Central Otago. It takes less than an hour to drive to Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wanaka, Clyde or Alexandra so it is an ideal base for exploring the area. For winter there are four ski fields within driving distance. Within the Cromwell basin is a number of vineyards (some with restaurants) and the area is also known for its stonefruit and cherry orchards. There are a number of cafe's and restaurants in the town.

IMPORTANT: Please read the house rules section as to the cleaning arrangements and other requirements.

(Please note that the fire does not have a fire guard so winter stays are more suitable for Primary School aged children and up).

Check out is 10am. Please contact us if you would like to request a late check out as this is not always available. An extended late check out may incur an additional fee

You will have full access to the property except for the garage, but you are able to park your cars off the street on the driveway behind the fence. We do not live on site but do live in the area so we are always just a text message or phone call away for any assistance you may require. Check in will be at your connivence via a secure key lockbox located on the property.

We would prefer to run our AirBnB in a hotel style manner so we will not be around when you check in or out but we do live just up the road so we are always contactable and we ask if you have any questions or need any assistance please do not hesitate to contact us via text or airbnb.

The cleaning fee is charged to cover the making up of beds and washing of sheets and towels. It does not cover the cleaning of the house.
Guests are expected to leave the house in the clean and tidy state that it was on arrival. This will include vacuuming and making sure the kitchen and bathroom (shower, basin etc) are cleaned. Cleaning equipment is provided.

Woodburner Safety:
Please be aware that the woodburner can put out a lot of heat. Never put anything directly on top of the woodburner. Drying clothes or warming towels too close is a fire hazard and may result in permanent scorch marks. Please put the airing rack at least a metre away from the fire.

This is a non-smoking property at all times.

No pets allowed.

Guests are expected to be considerate of the neighbours and noise kept to reasonable levels and no excess noise after 10pm. Parties are not permitted.

Extra Guests:
No unapproved overnight guests permitted. Please ensure you contact us before you arrive if there are additional guests in your party so it can be arranged to add these to your booking. All additional guests to the original booking number need to be paid for.

Please note that violations of house rules may result in the termination of the reservation and forfeiture of fees paid.

Our family of 4 had a fabulous time at Phillippa's home. It offered everything we needed, was very comfortable and was a great base to explore Central Otago. We particularly liked how close we were to all of Central Otago's fabulous wineries!

A warm, cosy, comfortable 3 bed house with a lovely garden in suburban Cromwell. In particular, the beds and bedding were superb and a real tonic for a good nights sleep after we'd been on the road for while.

Phillippa's place is awesome! It is well-furnished, elegant, spacious and comfortable, and has everything we needed. Cromwell is a quiet and beautiful town. We used Cromwell as our base to travel to Arrowtown, Queenstown and Wanaka. There is also a spectacular starry night view! I am more than happy to recommend Phillippa's place to anyone who cannot afford to stay in Queenstown and wants to enjoy some quality time and amazing night sky in a quiet town.
