This review should be called the good, bad, and the ugly!!
First, we can start we the ugly. My girlfriend arrived at the house earlier than our main group and was told there was no electricity and water. Jesus, knew there was an issue the day before and could have called and told us. Instead, we paid for a mini bus and loaded young kids, teenagers, and adults and drove for hours to be told by my Girlfriend to turn around. We were force to go back to Lima and stay there for 5 days before the issues were resolved.
The bad. Below you will read the good things about the house, and there are many. But, the a few of the bad issues with the house was WIFI and refrigerator. I was shocked upon arrival when Jesus gave us cellular USB dongle for WIFI. When you could get online (which was not often), it was horribly slow, and with a 3-level home, and capable of supporting a large amount of people. This was complete unacceptable. The load bearing might be two connected users. I had a bunch of work activity that was impossible to do.
The next issue was the refrigerator. Again, if you are stating that your house can support a large number of guests then you need to make sure that you can properly store cold food to support those guests. Another refrigerator was definitely needed!! They also need a microwave. Plus, a few fans would have been nice. At night it was incredible warm with no AC.
The Good. Jesus, at times was doing his best to solve issues. He is a good man.
There were certain things about the house I just loved. There was plenty of space for everyone and was decorated nicely. The roof top kids pool was great and being able to BBQ and keep an eye on the young kids swimming was great. Currently, there is only a very small house in the compound and it felt like we had the whole compound to ourselves which had a large amazing pool. I really did enjoy the homes besides the above points. The security person was very nice and was always trying to help.
Overall, I would consider staying here again, if they take care of the above points. I believe Jesus is a good man and just made a bad choice not to inform us about the electricity and water. But, after that he tried his best to make our holiday enjoyable. If, I can offer any advice is to have clear precise communication with Jesus, and make sure the above issues are straighten out.
