The place is secure and guarded by a watchman.
It's cosy place with a dining table/worktable, a couch and 2 mattresses. The apartment is self contained i.e you have your own toilet and bathroom with a hot shower.
Fridge/Freezer for all your cold beers, cheese etc
Enjoy goodspeed WiFi.
It has a nice balcony on the fifth floor giving you a nice view of Umoja, Nairobi.
Washing/Laundry can be organised at a cost of $5-$10 depending on your load

I will be more hands-off as I tend to be quite busy but I will give you tips of where to visit both in Nairobi and Kenya (seeing as I have travelled quite a lot myself.) Most of the time I will be there to give you the key and help settle you. If not, my lovely friend Stella will help.
- Smoking only allowed on the balcony
- No shoes in the house, there are jandals to walk around the house
Hi! I am Oprah, both a Kenyan & New Zealand Citizen but based in Kenya. I am a filmmaker by profession and loooove to travel. I have so far travelled 6 countries: Kenya, Uganda, HongKong, Thailand, Malaysia and New Zealand.
My favourite way of travelling is couch surfing and backpacking because it's random and I get to meet heaps of AWESOME people this way.
My next destination for travel (Outside of Africa) is South America (the whole continent). I'm dying to get there.
Within Africa, I plan to travel Rwanda, Tanzania and Ethiopia this year.
