Originally named Black Forest B&B, The Black Forest Lodge began its life in 1990 under the loving care of Susie Redden. She started by opening her home and the Homestead cabin to renters.
Under her loving care and guidance the Black Forest B&B grew to what you see today. Adding another set of cabins, Recreational Room, and the children’s playground.
In 2016 Susie married and began thinking about retiring. Early in 2017 I fell in love with not only the property but the wonderful history-so I bought the B&B from Susie.
Susie was so kind to us during the transition, teaching me all the necessary things, and leaving me much of the items she had collected over the years, including the soaps and shampoos in your bathroom!
Today the Black Forest Lodge is a family run operation. Most days you will find my brothers and me in the office or around the grounds. Some days you will see my father, my sons, or my 2 sister-in-laws.
