The cottage is located on Freeman Street, close to the centre of Wells and within easy walking distance of the local amenities including the quay, famous fish & chip shops, restaurants, shops and pubs. There is a sweet enclosed courtyard garden to the rear, which can be accessed independently of the cottage from the passageway between Star and the next door cottage (ideal if you would like to store bikes in the back garden). The cottage has lovely views from the rear over the playing field and to the pinewoods, lifeboat station and sea beyond. These are maximised from the first floor deck, which is accessed via a spiral staircase from the garden and has a contemporary glazed balustrade, meaning that the view can be enjoyed to its full while sitting on the deck. There is garden furniture.
Parking is to the front of the cottage on the street. There are no parking restrictions so cars can be parked for the duration of your holiday to the front of the cottage. There is also a large long stay car park within a very short walk of the cottage and weekly permits can be purchased from North Norfolk District Council (these are valid in many of the main council car parks along the coast).
