Three Tuns is a character end terrace Victorian cottage, that was originally the village pub. Owned by the same family for the past thirty years, the cottage has recently undergone a complete renovation and been tastefully updated to create comfortable, modern living while still retaining lots of cottage character and charm, with latch doors and wooden floors. Great Walsingham, in true Normal for Norfolk style is actually smaller than Little Walsingham its more famous neighbour. The two villages are bisected by the River Stiffkey and the braver of visitors can drive through the picturesque ford providing you have a large enough vehicle. This is a lovely spot to come and sit and watch the water float by and walk along the river bank. It is much more peaceful than Little Walsingham with a beautiful medieval church which retains much of its original art and carvings. There is a craft barn and local cafe serving very delicious lunches and light snacks. The coast at Wells next the Sea is a very short drive away.
