Tides Reach is a gem of a holiday home perfectly situated beside the marshes at Morston and overlooks Blakeney harbour and Blakeney Point. Originally four brick and flint cottages, Tides Reach dates back to the 18th century and was built by a local ship owner for his best sea captains. The cottages have now been converted into one, creating a wonderfully comfortable home while retaining all the charm of a traditional cottage. Tides Reach is equally suited to couples wishing to enjoy a peaceful walking break or to a family group with children. There is a Low Occupancy Discount of 15% for four or less.

Accommodation

Boot Room/Utility
With clothes washer/dryer washing machine and stainless steel sink, freezer, additional full-size fridge and cupboards. Ample space for coat and boot storage ample hooks and storage space for pushchairs, bikes, etc.

Cloakroom
WC and wash hand basin, tiled floor.

Snug
Cosy Snug with tongue and groove panelling to walls, ample seating with corner sofa ideal for younger guests/children with TV with Freeview, DVD, CD player and Wii console with games.

Kitchen
Fully equipped dining kitchen with central island and belfast sink, 2-oven AGA and microwave (also for use as a conventional oven), 2 large fridges with separate freezer.There is a Pine table and chairs with seating for up to ten people, ideal for families.
Window seat and decorative arched windows and doors with views of the beautifully enclosed rear cottage garden.
Tiled floor and doorway through to the Sitting room and Conservatory. There is a door to to the stairs which leads to the first floor accommodation.

Sitting Room
A lovely bright room with dual aspect windows and views of the garden. Fireplace with wood burning stove (logs can be purchased from the owners) flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player. Glazed door to the Conservatory.

Conservatory
A lovely tranquil room overlooking the garden with arched windows, tongue and groove panelling and wooden floor. A great place to relax on a comfy chair or rattan furniture and read a book.

Hallway
With feature panelling and doors leading to the main bedrooms.

Master Bedroom
A lovely bright and sunny room double aspect room with views of Blakeney harbour and old Lifeboat station. Double bed with bedside tables and lamps and ample wardrobe space. There is a feature fireplace, exposed floorboards and pedestal wash hand basin.

Double Bedroom
A light and bright room with lovely views over the rear garden, double bed with bedside tables and lamps.

Twin Bedroom
Twin beds with bedside tables with lamp, cast iron fireplace with surround and two feature arched windows. Door to wardrobe storage.

Bathroom
A white suite comprising pedestal wash hand basin and WC, bath with tongue and groove panelling and tiled splash backs.

Shower Room
A fully tiled room with double electric shower, heated towel rail. Wall mounted wash hand basin and WC. Small window to the rear.

Single Bedroom
Single bed, bedside table with lamp and chest of drawers and feature arched windows.

Hallway
With open tread stairs to the second floor bedroom.

Top Twin Bedroom
A cosy room with dormer window, feature arched window and exposed painted floor boards. This room is ideal for children, there are twin beds, bedside table with lamp a large chest of drawers and desk. Space for a travel cot.

Rear Garden
There is a private walled garden to the rear which is fully enclosed and ideal for families with young children and secure for dogs. The garden is laid to lawn with a 'Cottage garden' feel with a variety of flowers and shrubs. There is a large terrace ideal for entertaining with outdoor seating and BBQ area.

The cottage borders a fenced meadow which guests are welcome to use and which provides a lovely safe play area for children and dogs.

On the far side of the meadow a private path leads to the marsh where it opens up to a stunning view with the backdrop of Blakeney Point.

Outside
Tides Reach is approached by a shingle driveway which is adjacent to the meadow giving access via the rear of the property. Ample off-road parking for cars/boats and direct access to the marsh.
Two well behaved dogs accepted - allowed downstairs only.

Morston is a beautiful small village on the North Norfolk coast, sandwiched between Stiffkey and Blakeney, it is home to the famous Morston Hall, winner of a coverted Michelin star and home to famous chef Galton Blackiston.
The Quay is at the heart of all that happens in Morston, you can join Bean's boats for a trip out to the seal colony - a truly memorable trip and if you only do one thing during your time in Norfolk, we would highly recommend this be it. The colonies of common and grey seals live harmoniously together on Blakeney point all year round.
If you don't want to splash out on the luxury of Morston Hall, there is the Anchor Pub in the village, with a great reputation for friendly service and really tasty food.
