The apartment is situated in a 150 year old Weld Street property. The apartment itself was used during the 1900 as a waiting room for coaches heading South (hence the name!). 25 Weld Street had many uses over the years which include a boxing ring, home for a stevedore family and two brothers with a serious drinking problem with their herd of goats. More recently (after years of renovations) the place has been a printmaking studio, cinema as well as a party venue for MONA owner David Walsh.
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.
Smoking is not allowed in the courtyard of the property.
We make music and listen to music during the day

Nic and Maddy love living in South Hobart, where they can admire the changing moods of the mountain, and enjoy the surrounding views of the bush, and yet be a stones throw away from all things they love.
