Walking distance to beautiful Browns Bay beach and shops, north facing, two level, two living, "room to move" family home with a lovely green outlook is perfect for a coastal escape or guests visiting the Bays. Larger groups can be accommodated on request.
This light, warm and comfortable older style home is in a great spot close to all the best the lovely suburb of Browns Bay has to offer. We have furnished the home with all we think you might need, with nice linen, basic pantry items, BBQ and outdoor furniture, but you will not find lots of personal items in the space - think of it more like an apartment you'd find on the Gold Coast (that's what we used to guide us...). There is a (fully lockable for safety) under cover family spa on site for relaxing, a full laundry, bathroom essentials, a Nespresso coffee machine, and 3 bedrooms have wardrobes, drawers and electric blankets on the beds. If you need advice or support for your stay, or local recommendations, we are not far away - and if the kids need books or more games (there are some there already), we can drop some off. There are two queen bedrooms upstairs (one with its own deck) and a bedroom downstairs with bunks and a platform bed (perfect for kids). For bookings of 8 -12 guests there are two sofabeds in the downstairs rumpus room. Also, there is a small 4th bedroom that can accommodate a double bed (we can make these up if needed for a larger group).
WiFi and Sky (incl. movies and sport) is included. We ask that there be no smoking anywhere on the property.
Zugang für Gäste
All parts of the property including the garage are available. Own driveway and several small private deck/outdoor areas.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We live a few minutes drive away and have 14 and 11 year old children. We love this area - having lived in Christchurch, Wellington and overseas, and would be happy to share our tips for food, coffee and activities on the Shore (and wider Auckland).
Weitere wichtige Infos
The deck upstairs has an older style railing with a bigger gap (see photos) so we wouldn't let a toddler wander out unsupervised.
No noise after 10pm
I work in IT (and does my husband), which might explain why both our kids are very sporty (do as I say not as I do ....). We moved back to Auckland after 8 years in Chch and found ourselves in this paradise of a place called the North Shore. We are all very honest, focused and friendly people - and would like to share our space with visitors to the area...
