My cottage is close to Coromandel's arts scene, restaurants, pubs, shops, attractions and coastal views. You’ll love my cosy Coromandel accommodation as the space surrounding the freestanding rustic cottage affords total privacy in a beautiful orchard garden displaying a lovely rural ambiance. There's also a free carport for car/boat only 1 km from the town centre. My homely retreat is ideal for couples, cyclists, solo travellers, hikers, fishermen or anyone celebrating a special anniversary.
The secluded two room Gold Prospector's cabin-type cottage is completely separate from the hosts main house, and is screened off with olive bushes and trees. Inside you'll find a comfortable lounge and kitchenette and a separate double bedroom. The small undercover deck leads to a short outdoor path to a separate annex with hot-water shower and bathroom sink on town water with a flush toilet. Outside the cottage you'll find a bench table with seating and a BBQ including a gas ring. Also ask about the host's separate, beautifully appointed, antiquity filled house, that can be group booked offering three queen bedrooms housing six people with two full bathrooms.

I've been in travel and tourism most of my life and as such I understand the industry and guest expectations to an exceptional level. I'm a former adventure tour guide with 13 years experience across Europe, Africa, North and Central America. For the past 20 years I have been a freelance travel writer and two time published guidebook author. I currently own a glossy travel publication, Let's Travel Magazine which I'm the editor of. I'm also a professional photographer. I collect antiques, antiquities, books, LP records and a host of quirky collectables. I enjoy good food and wine, reading, writing, music, and fishing as well as pottering about in my garden and on DIY projects.
