The Manor House, Ashby St Ledgers, is one of the most intriguing and historic houses in England. In 1605 Robert Catesby and Guy Fawkes, gathered in the Manor’s gatehouse. There they conspired to assassinate King James I and his courtiers by blowing up the Houses of Parliament in one of England’s most notorious acts of treason, the Gunpowder Plot.
The Manor House, Ashby St Ledgers can accommodate up to 23 people in 12 bedrooms
offering a variety of rooms to suit both adults and children. It also offers an exciting variety
of entertaining spaces to suit any occasion. Within easy reach of London, the Manor House is available for private hire for the first time in its history.

We have various people looking after the house, one of whom lives in the village. I am also available at all times by telephone. We include a 2 hour daily cleaning service with our Head housekeeper.

In partnership with historic neighbouring church The Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Leodegarius, Church of England weddings and blessings may be arranged.
