I'm the person who was here at your arrival. I explained you how breakfast was working in our hotel.
We have two kind of breakfast for our guests.
1) "Continental" breakfast at 10 Euros per day per person.
We serve on a meal tray, coffee/tea, milk (hot/cold), viennoiserie (pains aux chocolats and croissants), baguette, yoghurt, butter and jam only.
2) "Buffet or American" Breakfast at 17 Euros per day per person.
it's a self-service breakfast where guests choose directly on the buffet table what they want.
This breakfast is more complete, it means you can have cooked stuff such as have eggs, ham and cheese, omelette, bacon, potatoes.
Your husband told me he wanted to order 2 continental breakfast for both of you and at this moment you looked at the menu and told me that you wanted to add a cheese omelette for you at 7 Euros. so i charged 10 euros x 2 persons + 7 Euros supplement for the omelette for 1 night.
Your husband paid by credit card for these services, and then i gave you the receipt.
If you were not interested by the continental breakfast but only 1 croissant + 1 coffee + 1 omelette, you should have told us when your husband ordered them and paid them on your arrival. Why haven't you told that ?
Anyway, there is no point arguing much further, it was a misunderstanding. We regret that issue and that you had a bad experience regarding our breakfast.
with our Kindest Regards,
Alexandre ( reception )
