Most of our historic homes are on the South Umpqua River in what we call the Historic Pine Street Waterfront District. This District is fronted by Roseburg's busiest bike path and behind is the South Umpqua River...all connecting to downtown Roseburg's commercial district. Our group Elk Island Trading Group has cleaned up over 2.2 miles of the South Umpqua River in downtown Roseburg and several unique historic homes that we want to share with the public. Come and stay in beautiful Roseburg!!!
Our projects at unique in that guests have so many choices: 1) lower budget can stay in our hostel area where you will have a sleeping area and joint access to restroom/shower; 2) nice refinished and historic rooms on the river; 3) renting a full 2 bedroom home with cabana bar event area in the back yard on the river; or 4) staying in a private bedroom with bathroom at the beautiful home on the mountain with view of the city of Roseburg in the valley to the south and backed up privately to hundreds of acres of Madrone forest!

Guests can explore as they wish on any of our properties: The South Umpqua River; Elk Island; and/or the mountain areas surrounding our beautiful mountain home. This bedroom is above the future commercial dining areas we are working on for future commercial use so you get a private bedroom and bathroom with lockable private door with most amenities being enjoying the outdoors and veranda until other inside areas are finished.

We will provide local information to guests for various types of local sightseeing. You are connected to the river and bike path and adjacent to downtown. Although we are working on changing this whole neighborhood along the waterfront we can only do it one home at a time so we still have work to do. Just like most towns today Roseburg has a bit of a homeless issue and they like to be by the waterfront also so until we get the whole are changed you may encounter a homeless person from time to time.

- We have either 3 individual bedrooms, campsites or whole homes to rent out. Additionally we have given an early 3PM check in time for the convenience of our guests as we want you to have time to check out the beautiful Roseburg area. We offer E-Assist Bicycle rental through a business associate so you can get around several miles of bicycle paths Roseburg has that are connected to 292 SE Pine and our other properties.

EVERY person that stays with us is investing in the future of Roseburg's waterfront for our economic and natural resources growth. All proceeds are reinvested into our properties to get children and families safely to the water. Our group Elk Island Trading Group has cleaned up over 2.2 miles of the South Umpqua River in downtown Roseburg and several unique historic homes that we want to share with the public. Come and stay in one of our rooms on the river and fish for Steelhead, bass and trout or watch the Salmon spawn late in the year. Other choices are possibly camping on Elk Island, or be in the mountains with our newer Madrone Grove home with many bedrooms adjacent to hundreds of acres of very beautiful Madrone trees. Come visit Roseburg on the water in downtown or on the mountain looking down at Roseburg backed up against the Madrone forest. All properties have been built, cleaned or renovated for folks to enjoy various experiences. Our customers get full and exclusive access to Elk Island which is a 15 acre island in the middle of Roseburg, and what we call West Bank which is the only area you can drive to, park and access the 6-8 acre inner city lake in our guest get much more than river or waterfront lodging. Whether you like nature watching, fishing, camping, boating or swimming Elk Island Trading Group properties and events is where you want to stay!!! Most of these properties are the Historic Deer Creek Settlement properties that were significant in the growth of the Northwest and our goal is to bring them to life again.
