Easy 10-15 minute walk to Island Creamery, Mr. Whippy's, Pico Taqueria, the Brant, plus lots more food & shopping options, this charming home is comfy & quaint. Enjoy plenty of parking & room to relax on a double lot. 2BRs, 1BA, kitchen, LR, laundry & bonus room all on the ground floor. Grace and Peace is equipped with high-speed, broadband (cable) internet access and has a secured, dedicated Wi-Fi network for your convenience throughout the house. There is also a wall-mounted flatscreen HDTV with a Roku streaming box and 30 basic channels of Sling TV (Orange), plus 5 additional channels of dedicated childrens' programming for your family entertainment. A "smart-lock" entry system means not having to make arrangements for key pick up/drop off, just use the unique code you will be sent prior to your arrival. Heat pumps in both downstairs bedrooms allow you to fine-tune the air conditioning (or heating) to your heart's desire. A larger, additional unit is centrally located in the main living area and there is a window A/C unit upstairs for added comfort. A cordless, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) telephone is provided for outgoing calls, as there are certain cellular providers whose signal is sketchy on the Island. The number has also been registered with the Enhanced 911 service of our local emergency dispatch center, so that in an emergency, the home's address will be known to 911 operators and dispatchers even if you don't or can't provide that information.

Grace and Peace is at your disposal. Everything in the home is yours to use and enjoy! There is a large shed/workshop at the back of the property where the owners store their supplies, so that is locked. There is a table and set of four sturdy chairs in the back yard, to enjoy cool evenings and fresh salt air.

While we live just over a half-hour's drive away, we are happy to let our guests enjoy their privacy. If you need us, we are not far, but we understand most folks visiting Chincoteague prefer to be given space to unwind.
We've been "working" at marriage for three decades and are parents to two homeschoolers. We love getting outside, as a family, appreciating (and photographing) the beauty of creation, in landscapes and in people.
