Our cozy townhouse is a great rental while you hike, mountain bike, fish, or just relax. The living area has vaulted ceilings, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a 60" smart TV. We have a futon and a sofa bed in the living room for children. In summer, hike or bike on nearby trails. Park your bikes in our garage. Quiet, peaceful, no traffic, 5 min. to Beaver Creek. Available monthly October 1 - December, 2017.
No pets, please.
Our townhouse is private and quiet, and close to world-class skiing at Beaver Creek, and great fishing in the Eagle river, and golf at several nearby locations.
We're only 5 minutes from town, but it feels like a different world. Our townhouse is the end unit in a building, with one other building in the complex. On a clear day, you can see the New York mountains in the distance, and Bachelor Gulch floats seemingly right in front of you. Plus, we're above the traffic noise from I 70.
Our kitchen is fully equipped for your use with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. We supply tea and real coffee (with a coffee maker), sugar, salt and pepper, some spices, and a few cooking basics such as oil and vinegar.
In summer, we'll have a gas BBQ on the deck for your enjoyment.
The living room has a sofa sleeper and a futon, either of which is available for your children. We have internet and a 60" HD TV - it's a smart TV, so you can watch U-tube for free, and other movies if you have an account with Netflix or Hula.
We do NOT have cable TV, but you can watch movies with your own subscription to Netflix.
The full bath has a shower/ tub combination and we supply ample towels, soap or body wash, and shampoo.
You can park your car in one side of the garage. There's a washer and dryer provided in the laundry area at the rear of the garage.
We use the other side, so it'll have a table saw and other woodworking equipment. We teach skiing, and can advise you about ski equipment and powder stashes.
From the house, in summer you can bike to mountain bike trails that start near the house - ride uphill to June creek trail, or Muddy Pass road which goes to Sandstone, Vail.
Zugang für Gäste
You'll have full use of the entire house and one-half of the garage. We use the other half for keeping our woodworking supplies. This is our home when we work in ski school in winter, but we don't use it in summer.
The HOA allows two adults maximum, and no short-term stays.

I'm a freelance writer and also teach skiing at Beaver Creek. In summer, I rock climb and wrote one guide book to climbing in Colorado, co-authored a guide to climbing in Utah, and have written articles for various climbing magazines and journals. I like to climb in Yosemite, Squamish, Canada, as well as the limestone cliffs of Italy, France, and Spain. I've also been on expeditions to the Himalaya (Everest, 1988; Shishapangma, 1994; Ak-Su in Kyrgyzstan, 1987), and have brief interviews in the movies "Vertical Frontier" and "Brave New wild"
