About twelve years ago, we were fortunate to establish a business, Casa Caribe Vacation Rentals, in our favorite place in the world: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
A little background... I was born on the East Coast, and also lived in Hawaii before moving to Puerto Rico, where my mother is from. After living in San German, we moved to Aguadilla, where I spent the formative years of my youth and which I have considered home ever since. My wife is from San German also - which is close to Aguadilla -, so we both have tons of familia there. We return every winter and have an awesome time. (It is in our plans to retire there in the next 10 years.)
About 5 years ago, the house next door to the first Casa Caribe came up for sale, so we added that one. Both are in the former Ramey Air Force Base area, which is really like a resort. The people, the beaches, the surfing, and the views are incredible - and the weather is great. A lot of our friends from the States stay at our places when they visit PR. It is great when we know that they are there - enjoying it all.
