My place is set in 64 acres of park land with great views. Hertford Town is within walking distance with its two train stations with direct links to London. It is a great place for shopping, restaurants and bars. You’ll love the combination of English history and lively nightlife if you want it. It is a romantic setting for couples and has two double rooms if you want to bring friends or one older child. London is within one hour on the train.
The Coach House is the original building next to the Mansion House with all its grand splendour.
Balls Park in Hertford is a Grade I Listed mid-17th-century house. The estate and house are set in over 63 acres of parkland which is Grade II Listed and features on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest. The estate and house are believed to have been the inspiration for some of Jane Austen’s novel Pride and Prejudice.
