House was built in 1894. It has been recently gutted and refinished from top to bottom. Great open kitchen and living room so everyone can hang out together. Patio with fire pit to enjoy the Wisconsin summers.
Walking distance of the lakefront, 1 block off Brady Street and an eclectic mix of some of the best restaurants in the city; and less than 2 miles from UWM, downtown and Summerfest grounds. Great location -- great for business travelers, families, and larger groups.
The old home has been updated to have a big open kitchen/ living room where its easy to entertain and spend time together. Gas grill available outside. Street parking is easy in the neighborhood pretty much any time of the year.
Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans utensils, hair dryer, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, linens, towels, etc. Guest will have access to TV with Kodi box and dvd player. Board games, books and dvd's are all for your use. The basement will be locked and off limits. There is a laundry mat 2 blocks away if you need to do laundry at all.

Please come and go through the back entrance. Feel free to use the patio with fire pit so long as the weather permits. That goes as well for anything growing in the garden. Raspberries grow on the side of the house as well as tomatoes, zuchinni, tomatoes, and herbs.

I will not be staying with you as you get the entire house to yourselves, but I will be around. I work during the evenings for the most part so I can be available to show you around the area to play host to your adventure.

Parking permit is required for the area, but its free for at least 2 nights and Saturday and Sunday are free
Quiet time on the patio is 11pm - 6am. Gatherings later will have to take place inside.
It is a family neighborhood so please be respectful of those around.

I spent some time in New York after college before moving back home.
I love traveling and meeting new people. I speak several languages although I don't get to speak as much as I would like. The craziest places I have been are either Yakutsk or Tehran, Iran. I like being around friends and family and cooking.
