This Edwardian 2 bedroom ground floor period flat could not be in a better location! It is approximately 5 minutes walk to Ealing Broadway Tube Station, which operates District and Central line to Central London. If you were to take the Central Line from Ealing Broadway you could be in Oxford Circus in about 15mins! The overland train takes only 7 minutes into Paddington Station with trains leaving every 10 minutes. You could also be at Heathrow Airport in 20 minutes.

Do not be fooled by the nice description and pictures shown for this flat in Airbnb: See the reality in the photos we took and sent to Brinda: (URL HIDDEN) We wanted our kids first trip to England to be memorable, but not because we were staying in such a crappy (and unsafe) house! Parking aside the lack of cleanness (details later), the main issue was that a basic service like the hot water and the heating didn't work properly: Having 3 small kids to wake up in a cold room, to take a shower in a cold and wet bathroom is not fair! We spent 6 days exchanging tens of messages and following her instructions to try to make it work (a series of messages repeating "press once again the reset button of the boiler" and weird things like "don't close any radiator, since then the whole circuit will stop"). After having spent 6 days making different tries on the troubleshooting of the heating system (we came to the conclusion that the boiler switched off automatically as a protection, because it was dirty and wasn't burning well*), we asked Brinda to kindly allowing us to cancel the remaining 5 days of the stay, which she rejected. * You can see the red flame, instead of blue, in the pictures (as well as a sticker showing that the last yearly review from British gas was due in 2011); it even started with a explosion the last time I pressed the reset button: not (EMAIL HIDDEN)ing back to the "secondary" issue of the general deplorable status: 1. The main point was the floor of the bathroom: you can see the multiple stains all over, but especially the dust in the corners. And also the lid of the WC... (see the pictures from the album). 2. The kitchen also had dirty appliances: washing machine, smoke extractor, toaster, back of the fridge... (see again photos). 3. Bulbs not working and even missing in many of the lamps (see again photos). With regards to Airbnb, the help pages when you have an issue with the host are misleading: They drive you to open a claim in the Resolution Center directly to the host and then to escalate to Airbnb for a definitive resolution. And then they come back to you saying that "technically you haven't communicated to Airbnb" and that they cannot make any claim to the host... This has been my first time to renting through Airbnb and I have to say that it will likely be the last. Very disappointing!

We have had numerous happy guests stay at this property and have never had complaints regarding the cleanliness. We have professional cleaners attend the property before every guests check in. We have a gas safe certificate for the boiler dated April 2017 and if you requested to see a copy of this we would have happily provided this to you. We had a gas engineer attend the property during your stay who checked the boiler and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with it. The agent also attended the property and noticed that one of your guests had changed the settings on the boiler which caused it switch off. Also, if you had told us during your stay that you were not happy with the cleanliness of the property we would have happily arrange for the cleaners to attend the property again to clean it for you. However, you only raised these issues and a number of the other issues you mentioned above after you had checked out. Airbnb decided not to take your complaint any further because they could see that your complaint was not honest. We are sad to receive any complaints from guests and we do whatever we can to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. As you will see from previous guest comments our guests are appreciative and grateful and enjoyed their stay.

We had lovely stay . House was well equipped and nice and living room is big and spacious . Brinda was very prompt in correspondence and good host . Check in and check out was also easy . House is very good location . Close to tube , supermarket restaurants . Well connected to visit central London . Will definitely stay again . Thanks Brinda for having us over .
