Welcome to my bright loft apartment, located smack in the middle of the Old Town of Margate. The flat is a bit of a show-off; it's not only very spacious and modern but with the many skylights, it's drenched in light, making it a beautiful spot to relax in.
The flat is perfectly situated: the Turner is three mins away. Keen to head to the beach? It's two mins away. It's surrounded by pubs and restaurants.
The room is a double room in my flat (where I live) with access to communal space.

Born in North Yorkshire. Left when I sloped off to university, and then quickly embraced the world of travel. At 22, I packed my backpack and travelled around Asia and Australia for 15 months. To my parents' dismay it whetted a life-long appetite for adventures abroad. Since then, I've racked up four months in South America, which featured a panic-ridden rabies scare (try that when you have basic Espanol), and sojourns in Berlin, New York and Lisbon.
Aside from travel, I keep myself occupied as a freelance journalist. I write mainly for the Guardian and the BBC. I'm also passionate about my (relatively new) home town, Margate, where I flocked to after 10 years of living in London.
