No 3 The Courtyard is a beautiful modernized apartment in a Grade 2 Listed house which dates from the early 17th Century. It is situated in the ancient city of Wells which is renowned for its stunning Cathedral and Bishops Palace dating from the 12th Century, as well as being the smallest city in the UK. The apartment has been tastefully renovated to the highest standard featuring bespoke joinery and quality fittings, to ensure a warm and cosy experience.
The approach is through a secure gated courtyard which is shared by 3 other properties, up 2 flights of stairs to a landing which is ideal for any smokers, through double opening glass doors to the main lobby. To the right is a modern Kitchen, dining, living room.
The Kitchen has double oven, large fridge, large freezer, two drawer Fisher and Pikel dishwasher, latest induction hob with pop up extractor fan and a small microwave. Well equipped with plenty of crockery, pots and pans, coffee machine etc. Gas central heating and hot water is controlled by remote control.
The Living room has internet connected smart TV with Freeview + Netflix + Amazon video. In addition there is an internet connected Sonnos sound system that can be programmed to play different channels from all over the world, in the Lounge, Bathroom and Bedroom; you can also play your own music from your smartphone.
The Bathroom is well equipped with towels, robes and shampoo and conditioner, a heated towel rail, heated floor, heated mirror and Hans Grau powerfull shower.
The bedroom has its own TV with DVD player, shutters, and night lights. The main double bed has Egyptian cotton sheets and there are both feather and hypoallergenic duvets available (please state preference when booking). The two person settee pulls out to make a further bed.
There is a storage utility area leading off from the bedroom through double doors, with plenty of hanging space and drawer space and the washing area with washer dryer. The landlord does use a small part of this area to store various items.
Safety: The apartment is equipped with several fire extinguishers of different types, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detector.
