***READ CAREFULLY BELOW, so there are no misunderstanding***
* The Japanese-sytle room as pictured is the first room that will be rented out to the first 2 guests of the same group/family. This room has one bed that can sleep 2 and has Tempur-pedic pillows and Tempur-pedic-type foam pad over the full-size futon mattress for added comfort and better sleep.
** 2nd bedroom will be rented out to 3rd and 4th guest of the same group/family. This is a private and smaller room (and not shown as a listing on Airbnb- as I do not want two sets of guests under the same roof for your safety/privacy). This room has 2-twin-size beds. The fee is an additional $35pp/night for the second bedroom.
***If you DON'T want to share the Japanese-style bedroom, you can rent out the 2nd room as described above for $35pp/night (for 2nd bedroom). Just let me know and we can adjust the fees accordingly.
***For children under 7, the charge is $10 per child/per night, with the expectation they will be sleeping in the same room as their parents. Children are welcome but area is not baby/toddler proof.

I can be reached by phone/ text if not present. If you need recommendations for Things to See or Do- I am the "go-to person" for your questions. I have lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years, and every time I think I've done it all- some new event happens. I just finished an overnight on the USS Pampanito submarine in San Fran-(last year was spent on the USS Hornet air craft carrier in Alameda). And recently I experienced flight through the air from a trapeze into the safety of my instructors hands...
I have stayed overnight in museums, zoos, submarines, air-craft carriers, yurts, hostels, shacks, tents, man-made jungle canopies, and even a shaman's hut (what fun!). Of course, there are also the more common places to stay like hotels and time-shares (boring!) I have travelled both as a civilian and also while in the military. As for my Airbnb hosting style? I am laid-back and will try to feed you on your stay (it's an Asian thing! haha!) I was a professional photographer, have a knack for building things ( I love Pinterest), and am a black belt in Japanese martial arts having competed internationally in kumite, kata and weapons. I was once a Taiko drummer (if you're curious of the Taiko drum pictured), a firearms instructor having worked with local sheriffs and police, and for a very short period of time a bounty hunter (feel safer now?) Currently I work as a Physical Therapist.
Anyhow, I understand how important it is to feel safe and secure, and I can only hope you feel that way on your stay with me.
Safe travels and remember to "Be Alive and Laugh a LOT !" - Mahalo, Arleen
