Light and airy seaside cottage with lots of character. Built in around 1900, it was originally home to one of the local coastguards who were stationed in the village.
Cosy and comfortable sitting room with log burner. Open plan kitchen diner opening in to the sunny sheltered garden. The kitchen is well equipped, with microwave, electric oven, washer dryer and dishwasher. There is a double bedroom and a single room with bunk beds. The family bathroom is downstairs, and we have an upstairs toilet.
The cottage has been our family holiday home for over 10 years. It is where we come to rest, relax and have fun as a family. It is a well loved and unpretentious cottage that we hope you will love and want to return to. It is a bright airy home with a pretty cottage garden, where you can sit and listen to the birds.
We have accumulated plenty of DVDs, books, toys and games which you are welcome to enjoy.

I am a busy mum of two, like so many juggling work and home. I like nothing more than spending time with my two young children and husband. Our cottage in Rye is the perfect retreat, where we escape to relax and enjoy being a family. We love walking, playing and picnicking on the beach, watching the change in the seasons. Here we can buy local, fresh and seasonal food. We cook and eat together, find time to play games, read and cuddle up for a movie. its a proper escape from the madness of everyday life.
