Colorful neighborhood in the East. Fresh produce markets, hip places for food, drinks, coffee. 10min from Dam square / city center public transportation options are nearby (tram 14, 3, 7, train station Amsterdam Muiderpoort, and several bus lines).
Me? - a Dutch young lady living in Amsterdam on and off for the last 7 years. Before I lived in Vancouver, Canada for 10 years which I so greatly miss. Love to travel, just like you!
Luxurious, bright one bedroom studio right in the middle of the buzzing “Indian district” . This colorful neighborhood on the East side of Amsterdam is a real fresh and upcoming neighborhood for Amsterdam and a great example where all cultures blend together nicely. Multiple fresh produce markets & shops from Turkey, Suriname, Morocco, India and of course locally are right on your doorstep. Some very hip places to have a nice lunch/dinner (example: The Walter Woodbury Bar (which is right underneath my place), het Badhuis, Ponteneur - 3 of my favorites), some good coffee (Coffee Company or Illys) and not to forget the cultural Studio K are also only a minute away. 10 minutes away from Dam square / city center and lots of public transportation options are nearby (tram 14, 3, 7, train station Amsterdam Muiderpoort, and several bus lines).
The studio is on the top floor (4th / steep stairs) in an old Amsterdam type building (yes – a bit of a work out). Great for couples or friends that don’t mind sharing a bed. Of course the large couch sleeps fine with a sleeping bag Equipped. All facilities such as; washing machine, laundry/dryer machine, micro combi oven, Digital TV, WIFI and of course a lavish bathroom with rain shower.
30 square meters
Please be aware that there are more people living in my apartment building and that the walls are very thin. Therefore I would like to ask you to be considered and keep the noise down after 10PM.
Zugang für Gäste
The studio is situated on the 4th floor, so a bit of a hike will be required to get up and unfortunately the lights in the stairways don't always work. Therefore a smartphone with light might be handy ;)
As everyone knows, most people in Amsterdam live very small and quite confined , therefore please respect the neighbours my neighbours and I try to be considerate and leave the partying and loud music outside in the clubs.
No Pets allowed
Also, there is a rooftop, but this is not accessible as it is my neighbour's.
No smoking of any kind
No more than 2 people allowed at all times in the studio or rest of the house
I'm Dutch and live in Amsterdam where I work for a Broadcast Company in a fun International environment with lots of expats. I love to travel, yoga, being creative and of course good food, wine, music and friends.
