Thank you for review. I am so glad that you got to use and enjoy the Thames Clipper. We love coming back from the Theatre at night with our children in tow on the Clipper. It’s magical going by the London Eye and under Tower Bridge all lit up. The DLR & Train is also a short walk away, and from December the Elizabeth Line (the new ultrafast purple line on the Underground) will be zipping guests in record time all over London…and even straight to Heathrow from the Royal Arsenal.
For guest’s arrival we do provide coffee, tea, paper towels, loo paper, washing soaps, etc. and many other amenities to make a stay trouble-free from the get go. We do ask guests to replace the basics if they use them up during their stay as we host guests on a self-catering basis even though we provide a lot of extras to complement your stay.
Our home is in a historic, protected building and heritage area surrounded by Grade II listed buildings. English Heritage considers the Royal Arsenal to be one of the most historic areas in London. Heritage regulations do not allow there to be modern fire escapes that you might find on new purpose built buildings. However, our building is very low, made primarily of brick and stone and meets or exceeds all fire regulations and safety standards. The broad exit stairs are within feet of our front door and there are six windows (with safety latches so they otherwise don’t fully open) on two/all sides of our home, in addition to four skylights from which people could exit if need be in an emergency.
So pleased you had and enjoyable and comfortable stay—we hope to welcome you back.
