Great rental for couples, solo adventurers, or families in the sought after West End of Aspen. The author James Salter lived and worked in this renovated and expanded mining cabin for more than forty years. Spacious living room, two working fireplaces, open kitchen and dining area and a vinyl record player. Free shuttle on the corner takes you downtown and to ski slopes. Walking distance from Harris Hall and the Rio Grande Trail.
The third bedroom, also with a queen bed, has no door and so is not entirely private. But a couple or one person can sleep comfortably there, in this separate room.

The entire house is yours. Starting in September there will be a queen bed in the third bedroom, making three bedrooms with a queen bed in each one, which provides sleeping for three couples. The third bedroom is largely enclosed, but there is no door to close to make it entirely private. There's also a built-in single bed in a passageway between the living room and kitchen and also a single bed that is a couch in the living room, but neither is at all private and are only appropriate for children. There's an extra charge for use of those two single beds of $100 per person per night, but in any case, only six people are allowed to rent at one time. The cleaning fee of $150 is per week.

I won't be there, but I have a fabulous house manager who will oversee letting you in and responding to any needs while you're there.
