16x24 cabin with covered deck. You can sit and just stare at the view or enjoy your campfire, private access to the beach, hiking trails close by, kayaking or fishing. Located 3 miles south of Seward out of the main flurry of summer tourists yet close to stores, shops, a fabulous Marine Sealife Center, great restaurants. A quaint little harbor town. This cabin is the best of both worlds, like camping in a big warm dry tent! Tenants are asked to sign a rental agreement before confirmation.
A unbelievably scenic two hour drive from Anchorage, Seward is a must see for your Alaska bucket list. Easy access by road or rail or ship. Also a perfect winter getaway if you want peace and quiet and a cozy place to nest. The fishing is great year round, as is the kayaking, and hiking.

You will have the cabin to yourselves, but there is a privately owned camp trailer on the property. You must be willing to conserve water since it's a dry cabin. You'll have 200 gal of fresh water for the week. The composting toilet is state of the art, waterless and order free. (but yes it has rules). Host will provide lock access. It's a safe neighborhood but we still require that you up when you leave. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR PET UNATTENDED IN THE CABIN!!! (Extra deposit for pet)

We are available by phone while you are there, and can provide any assistance needed. There will be extra water in rain barrels and 5 gal jugs, but your 200 gal should last you a week if you conserve. We will also check you in and make sure you are comfortable.

Recommend you outfit yourselves as if camping. Bring a cooler with your food and drinks. There is a small under counter frig in the cabin and a tiny outdoor frig for drinks. Fish freezer outside for your use. There is a counter convection/toaster and 2 burner propane cooktop, perk and press coffee pots. Kitchen has a necessary pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. No laundry facilities on the property. There is a small BBQ briquette grill currently available. (may be upgraded soon). Please keep fires in fire pits and adhere to any state or area wide bans. NON-SMOKING PROPERTY.
- Willing to conserve water, as we have a 200gal holding tank, and willing to use a composting toilet. Pets must be well behaved and on leash when outside. No pets on the furniture or upstairs carpets please. NON SMOKING PROPERTY
- QUIET hours in the campground nearby are 11pm. Bring your own wood for campfires and be sure and extinguish before retiring. Leave shoes by the door please! If you are fishing, please no cleaning fish on the property, but you may use our freezer to store your wrapped fish.
We ask that you review, sign and return a rental agreement prior to confirmation, but we will gladly hold your dates until you have time to review it. It will be sent under separate cover.
