This modest room can comfortably sleep six folks, and though the walls are somewhat bare at the moment, the quarters shows a lot of promise for future renters. For now, it's main appeal is it's capacity... and standing by it's listing title!

Der Wohnraum

Pink certainly goes pretty well with woodwork, wouldn't you agree? This is our street-level room for a group currently decked out in florals. There is an extra mattress just in case.

The private entry way opens out unto a panoramic view of the lower villages beyond the parking area across the road and the nearest ranges.

This part of the town is a lot quieter, away from the bustle at the center. You might feel like going for an early morning walk uphill towards the pottery, where the hilly views are contemplative.

Zugang für Gäste

As our guest, you'd have total access to the kitchenette complete with the needed cookware, dishes and utensils. You can also use our washer and dryer at the main house (just inform our housekeeping manager), the bath with its own toilet, the dining area, as well as the main house den with the fireplace. You can also sit at the couch with your laptop while enjoying the fire.

You can also watch some teevee to catch up on some news if you wish, and enjoy a cup of joe, on the house.

Interaktion mit Gästen

I'm usually busy at the Municipal building during the day and come home around dusk, but there are always people around at the guesthouse, like our housekeeping manager, Manang Brenda. Jesi, my co-host can also remotely guide you with getting around town and with other queries.

This town is pretty safe and traveler-friendly, so you shouldn't be too worried about walking around at night or adventuring alone within the town center. However, we highly recommend that you get a local SEGA guide when you pay your prerequisite Environmental Fee at the Information Center if you intend to do some hiking, spelunking, seeing the off-road sights, and other tours. Compared to other trails, like the Pacific Crest Trail, there are no milestones or markers and you could easily get lost. We certainly don't want that to happen.

Food in the bedrooms tend to invite unwanted "guests" ie the roach and the rodent. To keep these freeloaders from sharing your bed, we advice that you eat in the dining. Besides, there's always room for you at the table :)

This should go without saying, but it would be best if you wear appropriate clothing when you get here, as the locals are pretty conservative AND it certainly wouldn't do you good freezing to death wearing a mini or the shortest of shorts walking around town.

If you suddenly get the urge to cook up a storm during your stay, you might want to know that we charge a fee for the gas.

A plumbing problem can quickly ruin the most pleasant vacay. You can prevent this by disposing things like sanitary napkins in the bin we've provided in the toilet. That way you can flush all worries down the drain!

We're a bit on the old-school side and still wash our dishes by hand. Sometimes, we even whistle as we go! You don't have to abide with the whistling, but we'd appreciate it if you wash the dishes after using them.

Whilst we do a meticulous pro cleaning between each guest's stay, help us get through with the process quicker and keep the costs down by washing any dishes or kitchenware you have used and putting dirty towels in the hamper before you leave. Take care to separate the plastics and paper from the regular trash. Thanks for helping us protect the environment!

We get it that you may want additional guests to stay over. In the event that you want them to, please give us a holler. We're reasonable folk and will accommodate wherever possible.

Everyone should have their own space in a shared dwelling. We respect your privacy. And if it isn't too much to ask, we'd love for you to return the favor and refrain from entering our private quarters.

We understand that accidents happen. Keep calm and inform us when they do. Chances are, we can fix them as effortlessly as possible. We'd give you a thumbs up for your honesty!

To keep the floorboards squeaky clean and mud-free, we have a no-shoes policy inside our home. We'll lend you comfy indoor slippers if you're not up for walking around barefoot.

What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no-drug use policy. This is just the law... not so much as one of our rules.

To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we'd like it a lot if you could switch off lights and other electrical gadgets when they're not in use or when you're leaving the house. Mother Nature will thank you, too.

If you want to listen to muzak past 9pm, please think about the others and listen with your earpods or at a lower volume. We'll make sure to mind our noise, too. Unless it's The Band Perry. They're okay to play at any time in all areas of the house :)

Just as we encourage smart electric use, we urge you to be just as with water while you are visiting, since it is being shared with the rest of the community. Make sure to secure the taps before leaving the bath and let us know if they are leaking.

Life would simply not be the same without my family, friends, coffee, music and socks (in that order). I'm also a huge fan of going to the beach, and I can lose myself reading fiction. I love visual thrillers, though, and cartoons; my taste for entertainment is quite eclectic. Once in a while, you can catch me crooning Country beats, and being Vegetarian is my thing.

As an Airbnb host, I'm generally a cool, dependable guy. My wife calls me Mr Fixitall. I see hosting as a give-and-take relationship between host and guest. FYI, though, I may come off strict, but ALWAYS within reason.

Be happy and just enjoy life. And always be thankful for every blessing that comes your way.
