Mt. Peak Bed and Breakfast is a privately owned home on a 6 acre working farm, located on the northern plateau of Mt. Rainier. We currently have one queen sized guest room available for booking, and a rustic tree house in the back yard. (To book the tree house, please see our other listing or contact us for availability!)
We are an environmentally friendly farm where you can learn about poultry raising, soap-making, canning and food preservation, and eat great farm food!
The house was originally built in 1947 so there is always a little project or two going on around the place! As we are a busy household, we would ask that you do NOT bring pets. We already have a lot of our own, thanks! (Just ask the chickens, they think they own the whole farm...)
The property is approximately 6 acres with five of them being utilized for pasture, barn and woods/creek. A large wraparound porch covers most of the west and north sides of the house so you get great evening sun (in summer) and it's a favorite spot of ours to sit and relax with a drink after a long day. We have a fire pit on the back patio for nights under the stars that guests are welcome to use, as well as BBQ grills and a large seating area on the deck.
Zugang für Gäste
Boise Creek, hiking trails, bike riding trails, Expo center, Crystal Mountain, Mt. Rainier, agricultural sites, great little shops and eateries in downtown Enumclaw and the Plateau.
Guests can use the laundry room if need be, walk around the farm and see the animals, and enjoy the back deck and fire pit when we have decent weather!
Interaktion mit Gästen
Friendly and outgoing, always happy to teach or share farm life with you, but will respect your privacy and quiet times. Please do not hesitate to ask if we can do anything for you, or if you need some small incidental that you may have forgotten!
Weitere wichtige Infos
Our room offers Keurig coffee makers, a small fridge, and European pillow top mattresses with 1200 thread count luxury sheets. Turkish robes are available for each guest, and we carry locally sourced items in our gift shop as well. A chef lives on site so you can expect a delicious filling breakfast in the mornings!
Please be courteous to the other guests, and as tidy as you can. Although we have housekeeping we are still a working farm and appreciate any effort to help keep our house clean.
Remember, NO pets. We already have plenty of animals on site, thank you.
Please do not smoke in the house, this includes vaping. We have a designated smoking area on the porch with a butt can readily available.
ALWAYS shut the gate behind you! The animals will try and get out, and the horse is especially sketchy...

Hello! Welcome to Mt. Peak Bed & Breakfast!
A little about me in a nutshell: I was a professional Japanese chef for about 14 years and owned a restaurant in the Caribbean as well as having my own private chef service and catering business. My training leaned more toward the traditional old Tokyo (Edo) style, and while I mainly focused on Japanese cuisine, I also expanded to Polynesian (pan-Pacific), French and some Middle Eastern. My restaurant in St. Lucia featured Polynesian, Japanese and some local dishes but we also had a full service sushi bar as well. I have studied the stylings of chefs Roy Yamaguchi and Sam Choy from Hawai'i, but my big dream would be to train alongside Chef Jiro, Chef Morimoto, or Chef Nobu from Japan!
We bought our farm in Enumclaw in November of 2014 and have never looked back. This is an amazing community where we have made good friends, gotten to know and engage in business with local owners, and have really appreciated all the work that goes into running a successful farm. I feel exceptionally lucky to live in a place where neighbors help each other out, and where it has a friendly down-home appeal while being accessible to big city activities.
I am very outgoing with a great positive attitude, and have enjoyed the interactions I've had with guests from all over the world. It is amazing how good food and a warm welcome can make anyone feel right at home. It is my goal to provide an excellent experience for our guests and offer upscale amenities that you may not find at other places, as well as open up our farm for learning and interaction with our livestock.
My hosting style is very relaxed, and I hope it spills over to our guests so they feel welcome here in our home. I like to do small little things for people that are personalized and thoughtful, to show that I am listening to them. Paying attention to small details makes a big difference sometimes! After being in the restaurant and catering business for so many years, excellent customer service goes a long way.
So come on out to the farm, relax with a drink on the patio or doze off with a good book and a fully belly...you won't want to stay anywhere else!
I'm not sure if I have a life motto, but I would say this: Do as much good, for as many people, for as long as you can, and it will come back to you eventually! Life is way too short to be miserable, so do whatever it takes to be happy and content.
