As soon as we were informed of the malfunctioning AC, A window AC was installed the next day. Please note, all rooms have working ceiling fans.
Regarding the other concerns you discussed, we feel it is the responsibility of our guests to let us know of any issues right away so it can be resolved immediately. You gave us a 5/5 for hospitality and this is likely because we regularly checked on you, as guests in our home, to ensure your comfort. Note, we are on site to help you and would have been very quick to respond to these issues if we were informed. We were not aware of the majority of your concerns until after your stay when we read your review and your request.
Regarding the solar hot water system, the majority of the local homes run on solar energy for heating the water. It is an environmental initiative and priority Barbadians take pride in. We haven’t had
problems in the past but since a few of the days you were here the weather was cloudy and rainy, so unfortunately the water might have been cooler than you expected.
If you decide to use Airbnb again as an accommodation and dissatisfaction arises, please tell your future hosts immediately to give them fair and ample time to react swiftly so your stay can meet your expectations.
