Rising Moon is a self-catering apartment located on the beach in Umdloti, with nothing spared to ensure your stay is fantastic. The apartment is luxurious and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen offering a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer. There is an on-site barbecue area, satellite TV, airconditioning, Wifi and a host of other features. There are three double bedrooms with the main bedroom offering an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have panoramic sea views ideal for dolphin and whale watching from the large patio. Besides safe under cover parking, Rising Moon is situated a few minutes’ walk from restaurants and local shops. Watch the regular natural performances of whales and dolphins from the patio or at sea on organised dolphin viewing trips. For the more active, there is deep sea fishing, surfing, golf on a number of well-known courses within a short distance, and game drives. Within a two-hour drive you will be in a Big 5 reserve or the iSimangaliso Wetland Park World Heritage Site. If shopping is your thing, the Gateway Theatre of Shopping is situated 7 km from the apartment. It comes complete with an Entertainment World for the kids

Rules for Visitors
We are delighted to welcome you to Rising Moon and we sincerely hope that your stay will be an enjoyable and memorable one.
The apartment you are to occupy is part of a building which hosts the apartments of a number of other private homeowners, their guests and visitors during the course of every year. The building is managed by the Mountgreen (BODY CORPORATE) on behalf of the stakeholders and the rental of the apartment to you is with the written approval of the Body Corporate and Owner.
In order to enhance your stay and ensure your enjoyment of this beautifully appointed apartment, certain rules have been formulated and implemented by the Body Corporate and the individual homeowners to ensure the preservation of the ambience and lifestyle that is the signature of the building it forms part of. Everyone is accordingly required to respect the environment and show consideration for the rights and privacy of others. In order for all to live together reasonably and harmoniously and without interfering with each others’ enjoyment, we would like to emphasise the Code of Conduct required by the Body Corporate and Owner.
We therefore appeal to everyone living in or visiting the apartment to be aware of these rules, to value them and to abide by them, thereby avoiding any unpleasantness and the need to impose penalties for infringements. In this respect, we would draw your particular attention to the following:
Copies of the Body Corporate Rules and the Owner’s House Rules have been left in the apartment for your attention and information and we strongly suggest that you familiarise yourself with them as we have the necessary authority to implement and enforce same during your occupancy.
Disregarding any of the codes of conduct or rules may lead to a fine being imposed and inconsiderate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Only 2 persons per bedroom are permitted in all apartments to prevent overcrowding of the building and its facilities. Rental guests have to obtain our prior written approval if they wish to invite additional visitors to the apartment.
Rental guests and visitors must be aware that the building is frequented by children.
No pets are permitted in the apartment.
Loud music often creates a disturbance or nuisance to neighbours & fellow residents and rental guests are therefore required to show consideration and respect for such privacy & to always keep noise within reasonable levels.
Only rental guests who are issued with access keys or cards & access devices to facilitate their entry and exit from the apartment and building are permitted to use them and they are to be returned to us prior to departure. Please ensure that these keys & access devices are kept in a safe place as a replacement charge will be levied in the event of loss.
Fireworks are banned at all times.
Littering is prohibited.
No organised or impromptu private parties or commercial activities are permitted in the apartment or in communal areas of the building unless prior written permission from the Body Corporate is received.
The building’s amenities are subject to their own Codes of Conduct and Rules which can be obtained from the Body Corporate, if required.
Rental guests must vacate the apartment at the agreed time on the date of their departure to accommodate the needs of incoming guests.
