Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

A 50% deposit of of the invoiced amount is required to be paid secure the booking as per the Tax Invoice.

Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The balance of the rental amount must be received in full 30 days prior to occupancy.

If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it.

Where a cancelation is caused/made by the client after paying a deposit, the owner will attempt to re-let the property for the period cancelled.

If the property is not re-let for the period so cancelled at the time that the balance (50%) is due to be paid (30 days before the occupancy date), then you are required to pay the balance of the original tax invoice.

Any money paid in respect of a cancelled booking is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire same period at the same or higher rental.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked.

However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with.

No smoking is allowed in the house.

We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

The number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice/Tax Invoice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance at the rate applicable on the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) web site.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited.

The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial.

Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.

Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments to be made or deducted from your bond.

Any such charges payable in respect of the breach of the holding of a function or party shall be at the discretion of the owner and reimbursement sought from the tenant directly or from the bond or both.

Should parties or functions be held contrary to the terms of this agreement, or any written variation hereof, then the tenancy maybe terminated forthwith at the owner’s discretion.

The owner may give the tenants notice to vacate the premises as a result of such a breach (parties or functions), and the tenants agree to vacate the house within 2 hours.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenant’s responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.

Check-out time is 10.00 am.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Tenants are not to bring pets of any description onto the property.

50% of the Bond is payable at time of booking and the balance when the final amount of rent is due.

The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the above conditions being met.

It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.

Linen and towels are to be supplied by the owner.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
