Marloth Bush Retreat is a tranquil and comfortable, self-catering thatched hide-away situated on the southern border of the Kruger National Park. A wide variety of game and about 300 bird species are found around the retreat in untamed bushveld vegetation. The close-up interaction with Africa’s animals is truly thrilling. 15km to the Kruger National Park gate.
Marloth Bush Retreat has 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The main bedroom has a bathroom with a bath. The other 3 bedrooms have bathrooms with showers. Two of the bedrooms walk out onto the patio. One of the bedrooms is upstairs and walks out onto a deck, which looks out into the natural bush.
There are two small living rooms, one of which has DSTV (full bouquet of channels) and a flat screen TV.
On the large patio is a barbecue/braai and a splash pool for your enjoyment.

African night sounds of the lions roaring, hippos grunting and hyenas calling are part of the bush experience. Elephant and buffalo can be seen feeding in the Crocodile River. This is a birdwatcher’s paradise and with species such as the eastern nicator, yellow-billed, red-billed, grey and crowned hornbills found here. The iconic sound of an African fish eagle’s call calms even the most stressed soul.
