We bought this house off of Troy & hope to run Airbnb as wonderfully as he did! Before the purchase, Maureen and I stayed here and were moved by his warm heart and friendly, happy, welcoming demeanor! We hope & strive to be as good of hosts as he was! After your stay, we would love to get your feedback. We've got big shoes to fill!
There are goats, chickens, and Thelma Louise, our peacock, on the property. They are extremely friendly and social. The baby goats will leave you smiling as they bounce around like lunatics!!
This home has very steep, spiral indoor stairways and are difficult to navigate for children under 5 or 6. We do have a way to block the stairwell, but just want all to know that it is imperative to watch your small children when outside the bedroom. You will also have to carry your little ones down the stairs. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss.
Moved to PA from Michigan in 2011. I had no idea how much I would love it here. Outdoors is my life. A person can learn everything in life by watching how things work in nature. Life can be tough sometimes. See how nature handles tough situations, and it gives you perspective and grounds you. If you get a chance, read Gary Zukav's "Dancing Woo Li Master". How a creator is always present is revealed through.....quantum mechanics(!). Sounds crazy, but try it.
