Beautiful Cottage/rural house located in a wonderful panoramic area: on the top of a small hill (200 mts high) with a magnificent view on the Pontina plain, the Circeo Promontory, the Tirrenian Sea and the Pontine Islands.
Surrounded by woods, laying within an olive field of almost 100 years, adorned by the mediterranean vegetation, with fenced areas - often completely covered with flowers- kept as pasture land for domestic horses: it is 40 years that the whole property (45.000 square metres) is totally biological and it is 20 years that it is forbidden to hunters.
Two double rooms are available sharing a bathroom with shower.
The entrance is indipendent with no hours /return time obligations.
Guests can also use: an independent garden with external barbecue, the kitchen and, upon agreement with host, the big covered patio enjoying a spectacular view both at day and night-time, marvellous for dinners and relaxing or sunbathe, the outdoor shower, a table-tennis, table games, TV with DVD reader (more than 300 movies are available), ample greenery with high-trunk trees a wooden hand-made swing for four people a private big park to go for healthy walks breathing incredibly pure air a covered car park + others on the private lane independent heating.
Upon request, you can try the Finnish sauna experience.
The house is 6 kms from Fossanova Abbey Medieval village, 10 kms from Priverno-Fossanova Railway station (Rome-Naples line), 30 kms from the Frosinone motorway (A1 or Autostrada del Sole), 25 kms from the beaches of Sabaudia, Terracina, and San Felice.
You may make unexpected encounters with various kinds of wild and shy animals: porcupines, phaesans, wild boars, hares, foxes, hedgehogs, buzzards, barn owls, cuckoos, mabpies, rossignols not to speak about cows, sheeps, goats, dogs, cats, and horses.
You may also freely pick up fruits and seasons natural products (wild berries, wild asparagus, plums, figues, prickly-pears i.e. Indian figs, myrtle, wild cherries, edible mushrooms of various kinds and, among them, boletus).
In Spring and Summer: you can enjoy shady areas where a fresh wind blows offering great solace from the heat, candle-lit dinner parties "al fresco", healthy and quiet strolls, or nights out towards the movida of the near sea towns. In Sabaudia you can also canoe on the Lake of Paola. In the rest of the year: you can enjoy the Circeo National Park where you can trek up the Mount overlooking the sea, pick up mushrooms and go for long walks in the woods or along the beach, and stroll around the lake of Paola.
The town offers good restaurants at affordable prices, sea air to refresh your lungs and recharge your brain.
And, last but not least, the cottage offers you the comforting and romantic "sound of silence", a good book or comics (in Italian), a "wellcome kit (consisting of a bottle of really self-made bio- olive oil). A glass of wine or two, in good company, since you don't need to drive anywhere else....... could be a good idea!
